THE MIGRATION SAFARI (14 DAYS-13 NIGHTS )

DAY  01:

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport via KLM, you will be greeted by either Rodrick or Peter who will assist you in clearing immigration and customs formalities. Afterward, you will be driven to Lake Duluti for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

 

DAY 02:

After breakfast drive to Arusha air-strip where you will fly to northern Serengeti, where you will meet your  Safari Guide, Then enter Serengeti through Woga Tende airstrip and start enjoying the wildlife which are start coming from Maasai Mara to Serengeti or from Serengeti to Maasai Mara. Those are Wildebeest and Zebras who are moving together according to the weather and while you’re on the way to your Camp  For  Lunch.  After lunch, you will enjoy the different landscapes and scenery which is different each step you go while also you will have different wild animals that’re is grassing around or moving towards the Migration animals. During this time of the year is the time when the Migration animals are crossing from one side to another at the Mara River where you’re is located near Mara River in Serengeti side where animals are crossing when are migrating. Dinner and overnight at   TANGANYIKA WILDNESS CAMP.

 

DAY 03 & 04:

After breakfast have a full day game drive to explore this area and also to find out more where the animals are grassing and where migration animals are crossing or feeding. This area’s the area where the migration crosses the Mara River which migrates from Serengeti to Mara or Mara to Serengeti. The camp is located at the main route of the migration way where you may view them while you’re at the camp when they pass or grassing around the plain as during this time this area well active in different ways with a very interesting landscape which is totally different from where you have started your Safari. Also, the Mara River is very famous for a huge number of Nile Crocodiles and Hippopotamus so even if you can’t see crossing but still, there are interesting things to enjoy as Nature will offer you different vegetation with different creatures as well. Dinner and overnight at TANGANYIKA WILDNESS CAMP.

DAY 05:

After breakfast depart with lunch boxes and drive to explore the Serengeti National Park in different areas, at the Central of Serengeti where you will have a different experience with residents’ wild animals that are depending on Seronera River for drinking during the dry season when all migratory animals have moved to Maasai Mara. This area is where the biggest pride the lion in Serengeti National Park hangs along the Seronera River waiting for Resident’s animals to come for drinking and ambush them. Also, this is the best place for the famous acacia tree for leopard climbing along the Seronera Valley. Arrive at the camp for dinner. Dinner and accommodation at Kubu Kubu tented Lodge

DAY 06 &0 7:

After breakfast departs with lunch boxes and drives to explore the Serengeti National Park in a different area, the Central of Serengeti where you will have a different experience with residents’ wild animals that is depending on the Seronera River for drinking during the dry season when all migratory animals have moved to Maasai Mara. This area is where the biggest pride the lion in Serengeti National Park hangs along the Seronera River waiting for Resident’s animals coming for drinking and ambushing them. Also, this is the best place for the famous acacia tree for leopard climbing along the Seronera Valley. Arrive at the camp for dinner  Dinner and Accommodation at Kubu Kubu tented lodge.

 

DAY08:

Breakfast at the camp and enjoy the last game en route at Serengeti before leaving for Ngorongoro Serena Hotel which has settled aside the crater rim and you will have a great view of the crater, Arriving for  Dinner and accommodation at Serena Ngorongoro.

 

DAY 09:

After an early breakfast drive to Ngorongoro and descend to the Caldera for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch from the camp. This day you will have time to explore every corner of the Crater and try to find the last of the BIG FIVE which you didn’t see in Serengeti National Park. This is a very special place to see endangered species animal, Black Rhinoceros those are very few nowadays after being poached for a long time. Also, you may be lucky to see The Big Bull Elephants which are feeding in the permanent Swamp in the Crater with Big Ivory than other Elephants nowadays. Also, you will enjoy wild animals here because their very docile if you will compare them with those who are migrating in Serengeti. You will enjoy your lunch at Ngoitoktok picnic site where you will sit along the lake while you having your lunch and watch the hippos, but you need to be so careful because there you will have a Black Kite, the birds which are waiting for you when you having lunch and if you didn’t hide your food they will steal. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House Valley

DAY 10:

.After breakfast depart to Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyara National Park where you will have a Cultural Village walk and experience the lifestyle as here in this village is where you may count all the tribes which are founded in Tanzania with their individual languages. This Cultural walk may take 2 hours which will end at African local women who will prepare your local lunch with different African food and very tasteful and clean which you will enjoy so much! After lunch drive back to the lodge before dark for dinner. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Hotel

 

DAY 11:

game watch at the Lake Manyara National Park which lies in the middle of the African Great Valley and is covered 8,000 km long. Here you will have the time to experience African mammals as well as different species of Birds as well as the beautiful landscape on both sides. Then late afternoon drive to Tarangire national park Though  Iyambi Gate. Tarangire safari lodge/Burunge Camp.

 

DAY 12 & 13:

On the twelfth and thirteenth days, we departed after breakfast to visit Tarangire National Park, which is considered one of the most stunning parks in our country. This is especially true during the dry season, which spans from August until mid-October, right before the short rainy season commences. During this time, visitors can delight in observing large herds of elephants, along with their young, enjoying a mud bath along the Tarangire River. In this park, there are about 4000 to 5000 Elephants in 2850 Sq. Km which means in each sq. km during the dry season you will find an Elephant. The park is almost empty during the rainy season as the majority of the animals relocate to the Maasai steppe. The animals spend their time in the Maasai steppe and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge/Burunge camp.
